Save on Qualifying Heating, Cooling & Water Heating Upgrades in Colorado
Installing a new heating or cooling system is an investment in your home’s comfort, efficiency, and long-term performance. Depending on the equipment you choose and where you live, rebates and energy-efficiency incentives may help reduce the cost.
At Day & Night Mechanical Solutions, we help Colorado homeowners explore available rebate programs for qualifying HVAC installations, including heat pumps, furnaces, boilers, and water heaters.
As a family-owned company serving Colorado since 1989, we believe our customers deserve clear information about their options before making a major equipment purchase.

We Stay Informed So You Don’t Have To
Rebate programs change — and we work to stay ahead of those changes.
Our team actively monitors utility rebates, state and regional incentive programs, equipment eligibility requirements, and program updates that may affect our customers. We review available incentives when preparing installation estimates and help customers understand which programs may apply to their equipment and property.
Rather than relying on outdated rebate advertisements, we work to provide current information based on the programs available at the time of your project. While we cannot guarantee rebate approval or funding availability, we’ll help you identify potential savings opportunities and understand the applicable requirements.
Xcel Energy HVAC Rebates
Xcel Energy offers several energy-efficiency rebate programs for qualifying Colorado residential customers. Depending on your utility service, equipment selection, and current program requirements, eligible improvements may include:
• Air-source heat pumps: Ducted systems that provide both heating and cooling, including qualifying cold-climate models.
• Ductless mini-split heat pumps: Heating and cooling systems designed for individual rooms, multiple zones, or other applications.
• High-efficiency furnaces: Qualifying gas furnace replacements that meet current program requirements.
• High-efficiency boilers: Eligible boiler upgrades for hydronic heating systems.
• Heat pump water heaters: Energy-efficient electric water-heating equipment.
• Other energy improvements: Certain thermostats, insulation, and related upgrades may qualify for additional incentives.
Rebate amounts and eligibility vary by equipment, utility account, installation date, and program rules. Some programs require participating contractors, specific efficiency ratings, or additional installation documentation. We can help you review the applicable requirements before your equipment is ordered and installed.
Power Ahead Colorado — Cold-Climate Heat Pump Rebates
Power Ahead Colorado is a regional program led by the Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG) that helps qualifying property owners make energy-efficient heating and cooling upgrades.
The program currently offers a $1,500 rebate for eligible cold-climate air-source heat pump installations. Both qualifying ducted and ductless heat pump systems may be eligible.
Who May Qualify?
Eligibility requirements include:
• The property must be within a participating DRCOG municipality or county.
• The project must involve an existing building rather than new construction.
• The selected heat pump must meet the program’s cold-climate efficiency requirements.
• The installation must be completed by a contractor enrolled in the program.
• The project generally must be submitted for preapproval before installation begins.
Eligible property types include single-family homes, multifamily buildings, and commercial properties, subject to the applicable program requirements.
Can Power Ahead Colorado Be Combined With Other Rebates?
In many cases, yes. Power Ahead Colorado incentives may be combined with eligible utility or local government rebates, potentially increasing the total savings on a qualifying heat pump installation.
However, Power Ahead Colorado cannot be combined with certain other federally funded rebate programs, including Colorado’s Home Energy Rebates programs. We’ll help you review which incentives may be used together for your project.
Depending on your location, household eligibility, and equipment selection, other programs may also be available.
Additional Colorado Rebates & Incentives
Local Government Incentives
Some Colorado cities and counties offer additional incentives for qualifying heating, cooling, electrification, and energy-efficiency improvements.
Income-Qualified Programs
Certain state and utility programs provide enhanced incentives or assistance for eligible households. Qualification may depend on household income, property characteristics, and program funding.
Manufacturer Promotions
Equipment manufacturers may periodically offer rebates or promotional savings on eligible products.
Colorado Energy-Efficiency Programs
State-supported programs and incentives may offer additional opportunities for qualifying energy-efficient equipment. Because these programs have different rules and availability, we review relevant options based on your specific project.
Choosing Equipment That Qualifies
Not every high-efficiency furnace, boiler, heat pump, or water heater qualifies for every rebate. Eligibility may depend on:
• Equipment model numbers and certified efficiency ratings.
• Heating and cooling performance at specified outdoor temperatures.
• Proper equipment sizing and system matching.
• Installation requirements and supporting documentation.
• Utility service and property location.
• Application deadlines and available program funding.
Our team considers applicable rebate requirements when helping you compare equipment options. We believe the right system should meet your comfort needs first, while also taking advantage of available savings when practical.
